Tones the qi of the middle burner and raises sunken yang. |

| Clinic Usage: |
This formula treats deficiency of the spleen and stomach qi. Symptoms include fever, spontaneous sweating, thirst for warm beverages, shortness of breath, brevity of speech, pale complexion, muscular weakness, and a pale, white-coated tongue. It also treats the deficient and descending qi, which causes symptoms such as prolapse of the rectum or uterus, and sometimes accompanied by chronic diarrhea. |

This formula treats fever due to heat from the deficiency of qi. It is not for other instances of heat-caused diseases. |
