Tones the qi, clears the lungs, alleviates coughing and wheezing. |

| Clinic Usage: |
This formula treats chronic coughing and wheezing, which cause symptoms such as: expectorating pus, a sensation of heat and discomfort in the chest, and/or a deficient spleen, which results in the production of copious phlegm. Chronic coughing injures the blood capillaries of the lung, indicated by the coughing up of blood. In cases of lung qi deficiency there is typically a purple tongue with a white, greasy coating. |
