| Clinic Usage: |
This formula is used for weak spleen and stomach. Symptoms include reduced appetite, loose stool or diarrhea, vomiting, weakness of the extremities, weight loss, distention of and a stifling sensation in the chest and epigastrium, pallid, wan complexion, a pale, white-coated tongue, and a thin, weak pulse. |

This formula is based on the Four-Gentleman Decoction (si jun zi tang). The primary focus is to tone the deficient spleen and leads to cessation of vomiting and diarrhea. |
