Component:	Fructus Psoraleae Corylifoliae(bu gu zhi), Fructus Evodiae Rutaecarpae(wu zhu yu), Semen Myristicae Fragrantis(rou dou kou), Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis(wu wei zi)

Function:	Warms and tones the spleen and kidneys, binds up the intestines, and controls diarrhea.

Clinic Usage:	This formula treats the coldness in the spleen and kidney. Symptoms include diarrhea usually occurring daily before sunrise, abdominal pain, soreness of the lower back and knees, fatigue and lethargy.

Cautions:	This formula is very effective for daybreak diarrhea which is also called cock-crow diarrhea because it occurs every day just before sunrise.
