English name: End Discharge Decoction
Component: Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae(bai zhu), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae(cang zhu), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae(chen pi), Radix Ginseng(ren shen), Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis(gan cao), Semen Plantaginis(che qian zi), Radix Bupleuri(chai hu), Radix Dioscoreae Oppositae(shan yao), Flos Schizonepetae Tenuifoliae Carbonisatus(jie sui)
Function: Tones the middle burner, strengthens the spleen, transforms dampness, and stops vaginal discharge.
Clinic Usage: This formula treats deficient spleen and weak liver. Symptoms include profuse vaginal discharge that is white or pale yellow in color, thin in consistency, not particularly foul-smelling. Accompanying signs and symptoms include pale complexion, fatigue, loose stools, a pale tongue with a white coating, and a sluggish and frail pulse.
Cautions: This formula should not be used if the discharge is caused by damp-heat.
