English name:	Artemisia Annua and Scutellaria Decoction to Clear the Gallbladder

Component:	Herba Artemisiae Annuae(qing hao), Caulis Bambusae in Taeniis(zhu ru), Rhizoma Pinelliae Ternatae(ban xia), Sclerotium Poriae Cocos Rubrae(chi fu ling), Radix Scutellariae(huang qin), Fructus Citri seu Ponciri(zhi ke), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae(chen pi), Jasper Powder(bi yu san)

Function:	Clears gallbladder heat, harmonizes the stomach qi, and transforms phlegm.

Clinic Usage:	This formula treats symptoms of mild chills alternating with pronounced fever, a stifling sensation in the chest and sides, a bitter taste in the mouth, expectoration of bitter or sour fluids, dry heaves or vomiting, a red tongue with white coating, and a wiry, uneven pulse.

Cautions:	This formula may be used to treat the stomach disorders caused by the damp-heat in the lesser yang. It may also treat alternating fever and chills caused by the damp-heat.
