| Clinic Usage: |
This formula treats alternating fever and chills caused by disharmony of lesser yang. Symptoms include sensation of fullness in the chest, reduced appetite, nausea and vomiting, a bitter taste in the mouth, dry throat, blurred vision, a thin, white-coated tongue, and a wiry pulse. It may also be used to treat the condition referred to as "heat entering the chamber of the blood". The symptoms are characterized by alternating fever and chills, and women discomforted by hypochondria. This is generally caused by cold contracted after childbirth or during menstruation. In addition this formula can be used for biomedically-defined disorders such as jaundice and malaria. |
