English name:	Yellow Earth Decoction

Component:	Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis(gan cao), Radix Rehmanniae Glutinosae(sheng di huang), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae(bai zhu), Radix Lateralis Aconiti Carmichaeli Praeparata(fu zi), Gelatinum Corii Asini(e jiao), Radix Scutellariae(huang qin), Terra Flava Usta(zao xin tu)

Function:	Warms the yang, strengthens the spleen, nourishes the blood and stops bleeding.

Clinic Usage:	This formula treats the spleen yang deficiency, also known as cold from deficiency of the middle burner. Symptoms include blood in the stool, blood expectoration, nosebleeds, abnormal uterine bleeding with pale-red blood, cold extremities, a wan complexion, a pale white-coated tongue and an uneven, weak pulse.

Caution:	This formula treats yang deficiency and bleeding symptoms. It is not suitable for patients with cold deficiency symptoms.
