English name:	Dispel Stasis from the Mansion of Blood Decoction

Component:	Radix Rehmanniae Glutinosae(sheng di ), Semen Persicae(tao ren), Flos Carthami Tinctorii(hong hua), Radix Paeoniae Rubrae(chi shao), Fructus Citri seu Ponciri(zhi ke), Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis(gan cao), Radix Bupleuri(chai hu), Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong(chuan xiong), Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae(niu xi), Radix Platycodi Grandiflori(jie geng)

Function:	Invigorates the blood, dispels blood stasis, spreads the liver qi and alleviates pain.

Clinic Usage:	This formula is for blood stasis in the chest with impairment of blood flow. Symptoms include chest pain, a fixed, piercing headache, a chocking sensation when drinking, palpitations, dizziness, restless sleep, irritability, evening tidal fever, a dark-red tongue with spots on the sides, dark lips, dark shadows under the eyes and a wiry, tight pulse. Modern practitioners often use the formula for treatment of 1) coronary artery sclerosis, 2) disseminate intravascular coagulation, 3) various pain and soreness, 4) infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Caution:	Modern practitioners use it for coronary artery disease. It has been proven effective.
