English name:	White Draining Powder

Component:	Cortex Lycii Radicis(di gu pi), Cortex Mori Albae Radicis(sang bai pi), Radix Flycyrrhizae Uralensis(gan cao)

Function:	Drains heat from the lungs, alleviates coughing and calms wheezing.

Clinic Usage:	This formula is for treatment of smoldering fire due to constrained heat in the lungs. Symptoms include coughing, wheezing, and a fever with skin that feels hot to the touch, all of which worsen in the late afternoon. The patients also have a thin, rapid pulse and a red tongue with a yellow coating.
