Function: Expels wind-dampness, disperses painful obstruction, helps liver and kidney and tones qi and blood.
Clinic Usage: This formula treats painful obstruction with liver and kidney and subsequent deficient qi and blood. Symptoms include painful lower back and lower extremities accompanied by weakness and stiffness. There may also be numbness. Symptoms also include an aversion to cold and attraction to warmth, palpitations, shortness of breath, a pale-white tongue coating and a weak, slow pulse.
