| Clinic Usage: |
This formula is for qi and yin injury due to summer heat. Symptoms include fever, profuse sweating, irritability, thirst, scanty and dark urine, fatigue, shortness of breath, apathy and a deficient, rapid pulse. |

| Cautions: |
Only a small amount of Rhizoma Coptidis (huang lian) should be used in this formula. For mild summer heat with severe injury to the fluids secreted by body, Rhizoma Coptidis (huang lian) should be omitted. |
