English name:	Revival Decoction which Restores the Yang

Component:	Radix Lateralis Aconiti Carmichaeli Praeparata(fu zi), Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis(gan jiang), Cortex Cinnamomi Cassiae(rou gui), Radix Ginseng(ren shen), Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae(bai zhu), Sclerotium Poriae Cocos(fu ling), Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae(chen pi), Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis(gan cao), Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis(wu wei zi), Rhizoma Pinelliae Ternatae(ban xia)

Function:	Restores and rejuvenates the yang, augments the qi and revives the pulse.

Clinic Usage:	This formula is for pathogenic cold directly attacking all three yin stages in a patient with weak, exhausted true yang. The condition is characterized by chills, a propensity to curl up, cold extremities, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, lack of thirst and a lethargic state with a constant desire to sleep. There may also be severe chills, drooling, a pale tongue with a white coating and a faint or imperceptible pulse.

Cautions:	This formula is suitable for symptoms caused by excessive yin and cold.
