Component: Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis(gan jiang), Radix Lateralis Aconiti Carmichaeli Praeparata(fu zi), Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis(gan cao)
Function: Restores the yang and circulation in frigid extremities.
Clinic Usage: This formula is for yang deficiency accompanied by an increase of internal cold. Symptoms include extremely cold extremities, aversion to cold, a lethargic state with a constant desire to sleep, vomiting, lack of thirst, abdominal pain, diarrhea, a pale tongue with a white, slippery coating and a thin, faint pulse. This formula also treats devastated yang due to excessive sweating.
Cautions: This formula is of great heat. It is used most often in emergency cases.
