For liver and kidney deficiency, soreness in the lower back and knees, blurred vision, nocturnal emission, frequent urination, urinary incontinence, blood in the urine and leukorrhea.

For diarrhea, chronic dysentery, coughing due to overstrain injury, thirst, nocturnal emission, vaginal discharge and frequent urination.

For internal accumulation, fullness in the abdomen and rib cage, phlegm retention, hernia, flatulence, infantile carbuncles and scabies, colicky pain due to uterus contraction following childbirth, and postpartum lochia.

For excessive menstruation, night sweats, tinnitus, soreness in the lower back and knees, nocturnal emission and excessive and frequent urination.

Fresh herb: for exogenous febrile disease and weakness due to overstrain. Treats symptoms such as coughing with blood-streaked sputum, thirst, nosebleeds, bloody vaginal discharge, postpartum bleeding, internal injuries due to extreme distress, threatened abortion with vaginal bleeding, retention of placenta, traumatic injury due to falling, blood stasis and constipation. Dried herb: fever due to blood deficiency, thirst, blood expectoration due to overstrain, nosebleeds, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy and constipation.

For influenza due to wind-cold, vomiting due to cold in the stomach, coughing and phlegm due to cold.

Tones fluid in kidney, nourishes yin and marrow, stimulates blood generation. Can also treat irregular menstruation, deafness and blurred vision.
