For damp arthralgia due to pathogenic wind-cold, muscle spasms, beriberi, flaccidity, wind-dampness in the skin and impotence due to scrotum dampness.

For irritability, thirst, chronic coughing due to lung deficiency, chronic malarial disease and diarrhea, thirst due to deficient heat, dysenteric disorder, blood in the stool, blood in the urine, blood discharge and abdominal pain and vomiting due to roundworms or hookworms. Use topically as a plaster to treat corns and warts.

For wheezing, dry heaves, irritability, thirst, edema, weakness due to consumption, nocturnal emission, spermatorrhea, diarrhea and platycoria.
