For hernia due to damp heat, edema, distention, urinary difficulties, beriberi, diarrhea, stranguria, deficiency of liver yin and thirst.

For distended chest and abdomen with a sensation of fullness, numbness in the chest, stagnant food, edema, constipation, prolapse of uterus and blood in the stool due to wind-heat in the intestine.

For irritability, insomnia, jaundice, gonorrhea, thirst, red eyes, headache, blood expectoration, nosebleeds and a yellowish tone on the skin due to damp heat (indication of acute infectious hepatitis and serum hepatitis).

For urinary difficulties, edema, a distended sensation, turbid stranguria and leukorrhea.
