Ingredients: Betulic acid
Properties: Sweet, sour, neutral
Channels entered: Liver, gallbladder, heart
Function: Nourishes liver, calms heart, astringes sweat and generates saliva.
Major Clinic Usage: For irritability, insomnia, palpitation, dream disturbed sleep, profuse sweating due to deficiency, thirst due to internal fluid injury.
Cautions: Contraindicated for excessive pathogen with stagnant fire signs and loose stool.
