| Major Clinic Usage: |
For palpitation, forgetfulness, nocturnal emission, insomnia, excessive anxiety, carbuncles, boils, swellings and throat inflammation. For irritability and palpitations with anxiety, use with Semen Zizyphi Spinosae(suan zao ren), Semen Biotae Orientalis(bai zi ren) and Poriae Cocos Pararadicis(fu shen). For coughing and to expel phlegm, use with Radix Platycodi Grandiflori(jie geng) and Bulbus Fritillariae(bei mu). For phlegm stagnation in the heart orifice and epilepsy, use with Rhizoma Acori Graminei(shi chang pu) and Tuber Curcumae(yu jin). |

Contraindicated for yin deficiency with fire signs. Also contraindicated for yin deficiency and yang excess. |
