Isoflavone derivatives, Puerarin, Daidzein, Daidzin and starch. |
| Pharmacological effect: |
1) Effect on temperature regulation: the powder or liquid extract significantly reduces fever of rabbits. The effect sustains 4-5 hours. 2) Effect on smooth muscle: daidzein has an antispasmodic effect on small white mouse intestine similar to that of papaverine. The other ingredient daidzin has no such effect in this respect. 3) Effect on circulation system: puerarin can increase cerebral blood flow. Other ingredients have the effect of hypertension treatment similar to that of choline agonist. |
