Where grown: South of Yantze River in China.
Source: The dried leaf of Schizonepta tenuifolia (BENTH.) BRIQ. And its family.
Ingredients: d-Menthone, dl-Menthone, a-Lemonone, a-pinene, ß-Humulene
Pharmacological effect: 1) Effect on temperature regulation: oral ingestion of the herb extract has an antipyretic effect on rabbits with influenza virus-induced fever. 2) Analgesic effect: d-menthone alleviates pain effectively. 3) Antiviral effect: the condensed extract has an inhibitory effect on tubercle bacillus.
Properties: Acrid, slightly warm
