1) Effect on the gastrointestinal system: preparations of this herb inhibited vomiting caused by copper sulfate in dogs. 2) Effect on blood pressure: chewing 1g of fresh Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis Recens(sheng jiang) by adults (without swallowing it) resulted in an average elevation of the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure. |
