| Ingredients: |
Perillaldehyde, Shisonin, Egomaketon, Limonene, a-Pinene, Elemicin, Caryophyllene. |
| Pharmacological effect: |
The effect on temperature regulation - oral ingestion of the decoction has a good antipyretic effect. It also extends sleeping time for sleep induced by hexovarbital. In animal experiment, it has the effect of constraining cat's throat reflex after nervous stimulation. |

Relieves the exterior, disperses cold, promotes the movement of qi, expands the chest, calms a restless fetus and alleviates seafood poisoning. The twigs of Folium Perillae Frutescentis(zi su ye) is particularly effective in regulating qi. |

For externally contracted wind-cold, headache, fever, fullness in the chest and abdomen, coughing, wheezing, distended breasts, bleeding knife wounds and seafood poisoning. |
| Cautions: |
Contraindicated in cases of warm-febrile disease and exterior or qi deficiency. |
