Source: The dried root and stem of Nardostachys chinensis Batal.
Ingredients: Alkaloid
Properties: Acrid, sweet, warm
Channels entered: Spleen, stomach
Function: Promotes the movement of qi, alleviates pain, relieves restraint and supplements spleen.
Major Clinic Usage: For distended chest and abdomen, lack of appetite, vomiting, toothache and foot edema.
Usage and Dosage: 3~6g. For external use, apply proper dosage. The decoctions can be used to rinse mouth or immerse feet. Apply ground powder on external wounds.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid dampness and infestation by worms.
