Where grown:	In Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui areas of China.

Source:	The dried worm of Aspongopus chinensis Dallas.

Ingredients:	Protein

Properties:	Salty, warm

Channels entered:	Liver, spleen, kidney

Function:	Promotes qi, alleviates pain, warms kidney and helps yang.

Major Clinic Usage:	For stomach cold, distention and pain, liver and stomach pain due to qi disharmony, deficient qi and yang, and soreness in waist and knees.
Cautions:	Contraindicated in cases of yin deficiency and internal heat.

Usage and Dosage:	3~9g

Storage:	Place in an waxed-paper lined wooden box. Avoid dampness and infestation by worms.
