Where grown:	Throughout China.

Source:	Dried, ripe seeds of Benincasa hispida (Thunb.) Cogn.

Ingredients:	Citrulline, ß-sito-sterol , Lupeol, Diacylglycerol

Properties:	Sweet, cold

Channels entered:	Liver, lungs, bladder

Function:	Moistens lungs, transforms phlegm, reduces swellings, promotes urination, nourishes liver and improves vision.

Major Clinic Usage:	For coughing, pulmonary abscess, periappendicular abscess, edema, beriberi and hemorrhoids.

Usage and Dosage:	3~12g

Storage:	Store in a dry place. Protect from worm infestation.
