Ingredients: Volatile oil, alkaloid
Properties: Sweet, bitter, slightly cold
Channels entered: Lungs, bladder
Function: Promotes urination, treats stranguria and alleviates coughing.
Major Clinic Usage: For stranguria due to heat or from urolithiasis and coughing due to heat in lungs. Also can stop bleeding.
Cautions: Contraindicated in cases of qi deficiency in spleen and kidneys or during pregnancy.
Usage and Dosage: 5~10g
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
