Where grown:	Coastal areas of south China.

Source:	Product of Pteria martensii (Dunker).

Ingredients:	Calcium carbonate, micro-element, amino acid

Pharmacological effect:	Has calming, sedative properties.

Properties:	Salty, sweet, cold

Channels entered:	Liver, heart

Function:	Calms spirit, relieves convulsions, increase eyesight, diminishes blurred vision, relieves toxicity, and regenerates tissue.

Major Clinic Usage:	For palpitations, insomnia, convulsions, epilepsy, blurred vision, and persistent skin lesions.
