Source: Dried whole plant of Sedum sarmentosum Bunge.
Ingredients: Alkaloid
Pharmacological effect: Has diuretic and antiseptic properties, relieves jaundice.
Properties: Sweet, light, slightly sour, cold
Channels entered: Liver, gallbladder, small intestine
Function: Clears heat, relieves toxicity and removes dampness.
Major Clinic Usage: For ulcers, carbuncles, toxic swellings, venom of snake bites, burns, jaundice due to damp heat and urinary difficulties.
Usage and Dosage: 10~30g. 50~100g if fresh herb is used.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
