Properties: Bitter, acrid, cold
Channels entered: Liver, gallbladder
Function: Clears summer heat, dispels filth, treats fever due to heat smoldering in the yin regions of the body. Use with Carapax Amydae Sinensis(bie jia) to nourish yin and reduce fever.
Major Clinic Usage: For malarial fever and chills, itches, scabies and hectic fever due to yin deficiency.
Usage and Dosage: 6~12g. Add to decoctions afterwards.
