Source: Dried acrial part of Commelina communis L.
Ingredients: Alkaloid
Properties: Sweet, light, cold
Channels entered: Lungs, stomach, small intestine
Function: Clears heat, relieves toxicity and is diuretic.
Major Clinic Usage: For fever due to febrile disease, strangury, scanty urination with hot, painful, reddish urine, swollen, painful throat, boils, ulcers, toxic swellings and snake bites.
Cautions: For best result to neutralize venom of snake bites, oral ingestion and external application of the herb should be conducted at the same time.
Usage and Dosage: 15~30g. 60~90g if fresh herb is used. Proper amount for external use.
Storage: Store in a dry place. Prevent mold.
