Where grown:	East, central and south China.

Source:	Dried fruit of Chaenomeles lagenaria (LOISEL.)KOIDZ.

Properties:	Sour, warm

Channels entered:	Liver, spleen

Function:	Harmonizes stomach and spleen, astringes lung, relaxes muscles and tendons, calms the liver and dispels heat-dampness.

Major Clinic Usage:	For malarial disorder, vomiting, diarrhea, spasm, blood in sputum, beriberi, damp arthralgia, soreness in legs and knees, thirst and swellings.

Usage and Dosage:	6~9g

Storage:	Store in a dry place. Protect from mold and worm infestation.
