English name:	Knotty pine wood

Where grown:	Throughout China.

Source:	Dried nodular branch of Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.

Properties:	Bitter, warm

Channels entered:	Liver

Function:	Dries dampness, dispels wind and activates the flow of qi in channels.

Major Clinic Usage:	For numbness and pain in feet, rheumarthritic pain, severe and migratory arthralgia, arthroncus of knee and pain due to traumatic injury.
Cautions:	Contraindicated in cases of yin and blood deficiency.

Usage and Dosage:	10~15g

Storage:	Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
