Where grown:	South China.

Source:	A kind of iron ore composed mainly of ferric oxide

Ingredients:	2Fe2O3, 3H2O

Properties:	Sweet, astringent, neutral

Channels entered:	Stomach, large intestine

Function:	Binds up intestines to stop diarrhea and stops bleeding.

Major Clinic Usage:	For chronic diarrhea or dysentery, blood discharge and leukorrhea.

Cautions:	Contraindicated in cases of excessive symptoms. Use with caution during pregnancy.

Usage and Dosage:	10~20g

Storage:	Store in a cool, dry place.
