Where grown:	Central and south China.

Source:	Dried rhizome of Cynanchum stauntonii (Decne.) Schltr. ex Level. and its family.

Ingredients:	Glaucoside A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J

Properties:	Bitter, acrid, slightly warm

Channels entered:	Lung

Function:	Directs qi downward, reduces phlegm, moistens lung and alleviates coughing.

Major Clinic Usage:	For excessive syndrome of lung disease, wheezing, a sensation of fullness, coughing with copious sputum, and stomachache.

Usage and Dosage:	3~9g

Storage:	Store in a dry, well-ventilated place.
