Ingredients: Calcium carbonate
Properties: Salty, cold
Channels entered: Lung, heart
Function: Moistens the lower part of body, directs fire downward, clears heat from lung, expels phlegm, restores normal resilience to stiffening tissue and dissipates phlegm nodules.
Major Clinic Usage: For phlegm-heat coughing and wheezing, thick sputum difficult to expectorate, scrofula and gonorrhea.
Cautions: Contraindicated in cases of coughing due to cold deficiency.
Usage and Dosage:: 9~15g. To apply to eyes, grind into fine powder or dissolve in water first.
Storage: Store in a dry place.
