Source:	The siliceous secretions of Bambusa breviflora Munro.

Ingredients:	Volatile oil

Properties:	Sweet, cold

Channels entered:	Heart, liver, gallbladder

Function:	Clears heat, transforms phlegm, clears heart-fire and calms convulsion.

Major Clinic Usage:	For convulsion due to phlegm-heat and wind-stroke due to accumulation of phlegm.

Usage and Dosage::	3~6g to use in decoctions, 0.6~1g to use in powders.

Storage:	Store in a well-ventilated place.
