Ingredients: Alkaloid
Pharmacological effect: Stops bleeding.
Properties: Sweet, cold.
Channels entered: Heart, liver.
Function: Cools blood, stops bleeding, clears heat, calms fetus, promotes urination and relieves toxicity.
Major Clinic Usage: For coughing with blood, blood expectoration, nosebleeds, urine bleeding, heavy blood discharge, restless fetus due to heat, bleeding during pregnancy, continual, slight precipitation of blood and prolonged urination.
Usage and Dosage: 10~30g. May be applied externally with proper dosage.
