English name:	Trachycarpus stiple fiber

Where grown:	Throughout China.

Source:	The leaf fiber of Trachycarpus wagnerianus Becc.

Ingredients:	Tannin

Properties:	Bitter, astringent, neutral

Channels entered:	Liver, lung, large intestine

Function:	Astringent and stops bleeding.

Cautions:	Use with caution in cases of blood stasis.
Major Clinic Usage:	For nosebleed, coughing with blood, heavy or incessant blood discharge, all sorts of bleeding without blood stasis.

Usage and Dosage:	3~10g. To use in powders, 1~1.5g per dosage.

Storage:	Store in a dry place.
